Nova Place is ideally situated in the charming market town of Newport

Nova Place brings 214 two, three and four bedroom homes to Station Road in the market town of Newport. The Retail Park is moments away, schools are within easy reach and the A518 keeps you well connected beyond town. It’s a neighbourhood that just feels right and fits naturally into everyday life.

From morning walks to after school play, everything is within easy reach. Footpaths connect homes to green space and a dedicated play area, while over 280 trees and extensive planting are built in from the outset, helping the area settle naturally over time.

With Newport High Street less than a mile away, you’re close to independent shops, cafés and Georgian architecture, with countryside just beyond. Closer to home, a new roundabout and signalled crossing make getting around simpler and safer for everyone.

The homes are built for real life, with air source heat pumps and EV chargers as standard, alongside energy efficient design that keeps comfort high and running costs considered.

Development plan

+ -
Nova Place Site Plan

The development layout does not show details of gradients of land, boundary treatments, local authority street lighting or landscaping. It is our intention to build in accordance with this layout. However, there may be occasions when the house designs, boundaries, landscaping and positions of roads and footpaths change as the development proceeds. The location of affordable homes is indicative and subject to change, properties coloured pale blue will remain affordable housing tenure and are not available for general sale. The remaining homes on the development are available for open market sale to purchasers, who could be private individuals or another type of purchaser (for example local authorities, housing associations or other commercial landlords), and therefore the mix of tenures on a development may change. Site plan is not to scale. Please speak to our Sales Executives for more details.

How to find us

Green Space To Run, Ride And Kickabout

Green space is woven throughout Nova Place. In total, almost 14,892m² of public open space sits across the development, including a 900m² informal kickabout area and a 390m² inclusive play space.

The play area features a roundabout, balance course, multi play equipment, seesaw, swings and interactive panels, designed so children of different ages can play side by side. Lit footpaths lead directly to these spaces, making them part of daily routines rather than somewhere you have to drive to.

Landscaping is planned from the outset. 286 new trees will be planted alongside 7,201 hedge whips, 1,313 shrubs and 835 herbaceous plants. Existing trees around the play areas help the space feel established, while a hedgehog highway running through the site allows wildlife to move safely between gardens.

It’s green space built in from the beginning, not added later.

A Neighbourhood Designed to Connect

Nova Place has been planned as a walkable neighbourhood from the start. Around 2,775 metres of footpaths will run through the development, linking homes to green space, the play area and the shops to the east of the site.

A new four arm roundabout at the entrance will help traffic flow more smoothly, while a signalled toucan crossing across the A518 will create a safer way to cross for people on foot or by bike, with access to the public right of way to the south.

With Newport High Street less than a mile away and the Retail Park within walking distance, it’s easy to step out and get what you need without relying on the car.

It’s built so moving around feels straightforward from the start.

Wide Choice of Education

Nova Place sits within easy reach of well regarded local schools, helping keep the school run straightforward as children grow.

Moorfield Primary School, rated Outstanding by Ofsted, is just 0.3 miles away, a short walk or four minute drive from home. Newport CE Junior School also holds a Good rating, with several other primary options available across the town.

For secondary education, Haberdashers’ Adams School for ages 11 and over is less than a 10 minute drive away and rated Good with Outstanding features. Newport also offers additional secondary and selective schools locally, giving families flexibility as children move into their teenage years.

Further education is available at Telford College, accessible by car or public transport, offering A levels, vocational courses and apprenticeships.

With education options from early years through to further education nearby, Nova Place supports family life now and as children grow.
