Tilia Homes marks latest milestone at Montgomery Place

Councillor Mark Whittle’s visit officially marked the opening of the 209-home development, as well as learning more about what facilities and properties will be available to the local housing market.

When complete Montgomery Place will see a range of three- and four-bedroom properties suitable for buyers at every stage of the property ladder.

Tilia Homes understands the importance of open space and facilities for all, which is why the development will also have a children’s play area and pockets of green open space spanning the spacious 23-acre development.

Lizzie Burda, sales and marketing director for Tilia Homes Central, comments: “Montgomery Place promises to be a very special development and we’re thrilled to have already welcomed such an integral part of the Market Drayton community.

“We understand what a life milestone decision buying a new home is for anybody, which is why we consider everything from the location of our developments, to the types of building material we use, the property sizes most needed in the local market and even the landscaping and facilities our homeowners most wish to see.

As part of Tilia Homes’ ongoing commitment to the local community it has pledged nearly £1.3m to Market Drayton Council to support local wildlife, traffic, and infrastructure in the local area. The funding will see new pedestrian, cyclist and road routes in the local area to improve traffic management around Montgomery Place, as well as protecting local wildlife with buffer zones along the railway and the Stych Brook watercourse.

Those living at Montgomery Place will have the benefit of convenient travel connections, with access to Stoke-on-Trent, Stafford, Telford, Shrewsbury and Whitchurch all via the A54. Whitchurch train station is just 20 minutes away and has regular routes to Birmingham New Street and Stoke-on-Trent.

For families, the local area is home to a wide choice of schools ranging from nursery to sixth form level education. Market Drayton Nursery and Infant School is only a mile away from Montgomery Place, alongside Grove School and Sixth Form.

“Montgomery Place ticks all the boxes, whether you’re a professional requiring access to commuter links or families who needs access to strong OFSTED rated schools and local sports and social clubs - it really does have something for everyone. We recommend anybody interested in reserving one of the homes to register their interest via our website to avoid missing out,” added Darren Humphreys.
